Although Kettenbach Dental has experienced the situation several times, it is still unusual: Four products from the mid-sized company’s portfolio have just been acclaimed for the second time. The leading research publication from the USA, The Dental Advisor, regularly awards the highest quality materials used in dentistry, and the Kettenbach Dental products once again stood out from the crowd here.
At IDS 2019 Kettenbach Dental presented its professional audience with a completely new corporate design. As part of this new design, the extensive product range of the German family-run company has now been given a new and distinctive look. Users will soon receive their familiar products Futar®, Identium®, Panasil®, Silginat®, Mucopren®, and Visalys® in modern and fresh packaging. The company emphasizes that of course the products themselves remain unchanged regarding their quality and character.
As one of the first dental companies at all to do so, Kettenbach Dental has successfully achieved certification of its impression materials in accordance with the new Medical Device Regulation (MDR). In March 2020, the first audit in compliance with the European Medical Device Regulation was conducted and passed, and accordingly, Kettenbach Dental has now been issued with the official certificate by its Notified Body, TÜV SUD. This is an important quality management milestone for the medium- sized company, which has made its name around the world with its products for impression taking and composites.
The US platform for dental education, Catapult, recently had the precision impression material Identium from Kettenbach Dental evaluated by its affiliated dentists in Canada and the USA. The positive results led Catapult to expressing its “Vote of Confidence” in the product. The majority of the reviewers were of the opinion that Identium’s innovative product features clearly improve the impression process and therefore the results.
Kettenbach once more elected a champion of innovation Let go of the old and brave the new: Innovative medium-sized businesses such as Kettenbach GmbH & Co. KG in Eschenburg, Germany, have no fear of change, instead embracing it as an opportunity. The company impressed with this attitude once again in the 27th year of the TOP 100 competition for innovation. In the scientifically rigorous selection procedure, the company excelled particularly in the categories “Innovationdriven top management” and “Innovative processes and organization”.
The leading research publication from the USA, The Dental Advisor, regularly awards the highest quality materials used in dentistry. And the fact that products from Kettenbach Dental are among them has once again been impressively demonstrated: no less than 4 products have now been awarded for the year 2020.
